I went in today and asked for an eyebrow wax. The technician dropped wax on my hair. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that she was out of the country. I was given an acting manager's phone number. I called it and it wasn't an active number. I then asked for a correct phone number. I was given a second number. This acting manager began to harass me via text telling me that she was going to call authorities and say I walked out without paying because her employee didn't have the authority to tell me my fees were waived. She continued to text me throughout the night. I asked her to have the owner contact me and she told me I had to come in the next day for someone to look at my hair. I repeatedly told her I had a flight for a board meeting in the morning and she said she would use the security camera footage to prove I walked out. I told her that she will see that I offered to pay for my services; but, was told that it was waived since their technician dropped hot wax in my hair. I have never felt so wronged, mistreated, and threatened in my entire life. I had been a repeat customer. I am terribly disappointed that the salon is unwilling to take responsibility for their technician's actions.
