Dr. Epstein is extremely thorough and is willing to spend time explaining things. His office staff is lovely. I first started going to him because he was recommended by a retina specialist.

I was a patient long before this practice was bought out by the current doctor. The wait time is atrocious, always a long wait, sometimes 40,45, or close to an hour late beyond appointment schedules. Secondly, I dont have insurance & pay out of pocket...the one thing I expect is to be able to see a DOCTOR for my entire exam however, a "tech" does the exam in full, even writes the prescription; I see the doctor for 5 mins if we are lucky at the end. Thirdly, the person running the eyeglass section is condescending. I went to this practice for more than 10 yrs, but I cant take it anymore, Im done. Have to find a doctor that is willing to actually DO the exam on me & a eyeglass rep who is not so high pressure. Cant believe I actually lasted this long with this aggravation at this practice. If you have alot of time on your hands to hang around and wait, go for it, this is the place for you.
