Dr. Hongyan Li received extensive training in Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in China and US. With 29 years of clinical experience in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, she is an expert in pain management, infertility, eye diseases, cosmetic acupuncture, etc. Dr. Li has helped to deliver high quality treatment to vast numbers of patients in China and US, and successfully treated hundreds of patients with headaches, neck pain, back pain, knee pain, sciatica, arthritis, sinus problems, irregular/painful menstruation, depression, weight control, eye diseases, or cosmetic problems. She is one of most recognized professionals in the field of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Dr. Li earned MD degree from Tongji Medical University in 1984 after five years of training in both Chinese and Western Medicine. She earned a master degree in Ophthalmology at Beijing University in 1994. In 1999, Dr. Li extended post-graduate training in Oriental Medicine at Samara and Western medical training at UCLA. Dr. Li was a professor at Beijing University. She was invited for many presentations and lectures in Oriental Medical Research Institute & Hospital throughout China. Dr. Li was a visiting scholar in USC and UCLA School of Medicine, and worked as a researcher in Department of Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for six years.
