Do not rent from here! After one year (and never missing a payment and being extremely good renters), Avalon tried to take up our rent over 20%. If we decided to go month to month, they wanted an additional 1,000 dollars/month. They got us to initially rent by offering "2 months of rent free."



Also, when we decided to leave Avalon after one year, they charged us over $700 dollars for damages which would be considered normal "wear and tear". Although we lived there for only a year (no-one had lived there before us, we have no pets and are non-smokers), they charged us to replace all of our carpets and re-paint the entire apartment.. We had to get a lawyer involved.



Anyways, it looks great at first, but this place is NOT worth it! Unless, you want unreasonable rent increases, or you want to pay for damages that simply don't exist.
