Absolutely unlivable rooms, unbelievably poor service. We rented two rooms for a week over Christmas. When we got there, the mattresses in one room were covered with plastic bags (the ones that a mattress comes in from the warehouse, not even actual plastic covers) that were uncomfortable and crackly, and there were no blankets in one of the rooms, but we were tired form the long cross country trip and just went to bed. The next evening when we returned to the room, we noticed that the heat was not working. We brought this to the attention of the man at the front desk, and he was unable to do anything about it, or even contact anyone who could. He also was unable to provide us with any blankets for our now-freezing room. Only when I went back to the front desk a second time and asked for the space heater out of the lobby did we get any relief- he let me take it. So we didn't freeze, but it was loud, and in the tiny room it was difficult to find a place to put it that wasn't a fire hazard, as it was the glowing-coil forced air type of heater. We were told that a maintenance man would come by and fix the heat at 7am, but when we returned to the room at 1pm, it was still broken, and we still had no blankets. So we left and spent the rest of the time at another motel. When I tried to call and talk with the manager, she initially denied being the manager, then told me that there would be no refunds (even for the nights we did not spend at the motel), and hung up on me.
