They did my taxes for two years. It wasn't better or worse than my last CPA. I called and asked a I asked a question in JUNE of my CPA and didn't get an answer for three months. I was never told I would be charged, let alone $300 dollars. In the three month wait (since I figured they'd forgot) I solved my own problem in two hours with google. I literally paid $300 for nothing. I expressed this very clearly to ST&A and they acted like they cared but didn't do anything to change it. I was even told I could wait to pay with my next years tax prep but then I started getting charged interest. STAY AWAY! Terrible business practices. I paid my bill but I hope I can warn other to stay away!

SCA has been providing numerous services for myself and my clients for years and they are the most conscientious and professional firm I have dealt with.

Went there to have business taxes completed, the filed an extention because they said I had "alot of paperwork" to be done, I am a small business with 2 employees. In October they contacted me 2 days before the deadline to send to IRS, told me me that I owed 20k, when the got the depreciation schedules from my previous tax preparer it was around 9k, I called my previous preparer and he wanted to look at their figures, He found SEVERAL mistakes that would have gotten me a nice big fine from IRS not to mention the $4K I was about to over pay. I contacted Chris Carter and he said that my previous preparer was right and he was so sorry. He paid my preparer the 100.00 but I had to pay Stiles and Carter $600 for "preparing my taxes" Needless to say I am not going back. The right thing for them to do was refund the $600 and I would have gladly paid the previous preparer.
