Wayne Inzerello was one of the instructors when I took the NRA RSO (Range Safety Officer) class. I have also worked as an RSO under Wayne at a local range. In both capacities, instructor and Chief RSO, Wayne has proven himself time and again to be best in class.
He takes gun safety very seriously which is an absolute requirement in this line of work. Some instructors aren’t able to teach and maintain strict safety without coming across as overbearing or intimidating. Wayne manages this and makes it look easy.
He has a very board knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the subject matter and a genuine passion for sharing that with others. This combined with his teaching style and interpersonal skills make him the ideal instructor. Very knowledgeable, approachable, and easy to talk to without an air of superiority or ego. I come from a military background and have been around guns all my life and he still finds things to teach me. Wayne is the best instructor I have ever seen!

I recently attended the NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) class offered by Safe Shot Firearm Academy, L.L.C, and was very pleased by the course. The company’s easy-to-find location, relatively small class size, attention to student needs, and relaxed atmosphere really helped increase my overall experience. The class was taught by Wayne Inzerello, who covered all RSO materials clearly and thoroughly, and was happy to go into depth on any questions that came up. In addition to the standard NRA materials, Wayne gave additional insights into RSO duties and challenges, and shared some real-life examples from his extensive firearms background.
