I contacted Gulf Coast Gate and Fence to fabricate an 18-foot gate. The gate was to be manufactured in 2 pieces due to its cumbersome size. Chris worked with me on the design, for the outcome illusion upon completion to be one solid gate. All I needed to do is contact a welder to fab the 2 gates together upon arrival. Gulf Coast continuously communicated with me during the build out phase and sent pictures of every milestone. It took a while to be fabricated but I would rather have quality craftmanship. And man was it! To our surprise, the very large 2-piece gate arrived in perfect condition all the way from Alabama to Texas. Larger than life and just as magnificent as Chris and Brian described. We waited a very long time to purchase a driveway gate and I am over the moon in love with this gate. When my welder arrived to fab the gates together, he even commented on the exceptional workmanship and paint job Gulf Coast provided. The gate is black and as slick and shinny as the body of a car. Utterly outstanding.

I always wait a few months to see how things work before i write a review. We looked into 3 different companies to build our custom entrance gate, and after meeting with the guys at Gulf Coast Gates and seeing their work, we decided to go with them. I showed up with a hand sketch of what we wanted and they came up with a design that was very impressive on paper and even better now that its installed. They are very easy to work with, very detail oriented , and had everything completed when they said it would be (about 3 weeks). We love the fact that there are still craftsman out there that can take a idea and make something out of it. Thank you guys! Mr. J. Payne.

Our Homeowners assoc. hired Gulf Coast Gate and Fence to take out existing/non-functional entry and exit gates/gate openers and replace with new. They built two amazing sets(see photos) of new entry gates and perimeter fencing and installed new Liftmaster Openers,with card reader system. Everything went very smooth with the installation and is working great. Very good down to earth people who are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain and make sure you are getting just what you need!! We will definitely be using them for our future projects. A. "Chris" quoted new system, and we purchased. One important feature was 5 yr warranty!. Gates look great! BUT have been very unreliable. One of two gates - mounting post failed - causing gate tilt ( he did fix that). Since installation in May, gates have been Down, more than up!! And at this point he does not even return calls. We are only 120 days in and basically have no warranty at all!! Somehow we now get info that he meant "manufacturer's warranty" – not whole system ???? CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!, and if you did not take Latin -- Be VERY Careful!!

Ordered a beautiful gate from GULF COAST GATE AND FENCE in the Pictures are beautiful saw it on another sight for gates on line so got a hold a fellow named Chris from gulf coast gate as he seemed to be nice and I talked with him about and showed him the sight where we saw the other gate he said he could make it promised top of the line welding and we decided to order it so he said money up front and it would take 3 weeks it took longer as he said they could not get it powder coated at there regular painter so it took 1-2 weeks longer to get it done,WELL THE WELDING SUCKS AS U WILL SEE ,I CALLED GULFCOAST NO ONE EVER ANSWERS I LEAVE MESSAGES,NO ONE CALLS BACK ,THEN FINALLY E MAILED AND A GUY NAMED BRIAN MAILED ME BACK, SAID HE WAS THE BOSS AND WANTED PICTURES OF MY CONCERNS SO I SHOT HIM SEVERAL PIC AND SAID IF HE NEEDED MORE TO LET ME KNOW,,,,,,,I ASKED FOR THE OWNERS NAME AND GOT NO ANSWERS,IF I'M PISSED PAYING THOUSANDS OF $$ FOR A GATE THAT LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE KID DID THE WORK

We called this company to give us a price for a new gate. He said he would be out the following afternoon to give us a price. Me and my wife took off work to meet him, he never showed or called. When I called him he said he could make it the next day. I don't know what kind of work he does but being on time and keeping his word are not priorities for him. Something to think about. Moving on to someone who cares about their word.
