Did I also mention that we have written books on how to rebuild transmissions? We take our business to a new level! Southwest Gear has an entire staff of top-level mechanics who can service your standard or automatic transmission, transfer case, or differential. These services range all the way from doing your yearly oil and filter change on your automatic transmission to rebuilding the entire transmission (standard or automatic), transfer case or differential. That way you don't have to get your hands dirty! The first thing that we do when you come into the shop is say "HI!" Then we get down to what kind of problems you are experiencing and check your car. Two different checks we do is to scan the vehicle's computer with our scanner then do a manual check of the drivability and the condition of the fluid. Based on this information, we can give you a fairly accurate idea of what you need done, the cost and the time that we will need to have the vehicle in the shop.
