Montwood Middle School is governed by the Socorro Independent School District and is located in El Paso, Texas. It is a public, coeducational secondary school that enrolls students in grades six through eight. The school was established as a cooperative teaching endeavor, known as the Science, Math and Reading Together Academy. Its students participate in several academic competitions, including Odyssey of the Mind, science fairs and university interscholastic league competitions.
