The owner camps out at his desk positioned right in front of one of the bookshelves. I was struck by his sullen attitude . . he seemed worried that I would damage one of his books . . . he made some kinda comment about asking first before removing a book from the shelf. I told him that I wouldn't touch his books . . . and I didn't! -- I walked out the door.
