This project arose for a specific reason, to unit our border cultures. LAPA-LAPA comes from the term “Palapa” a rustic construction with the roof made of dried palm leaves shaped as an umbrella, supported by wooden posts and stringers. Adding the prefix "La" with "Palapa" in a play on words, the concept LAPA-LAPA was born.
