Quite delicious! We tried their bizmarck long john, creme horn, apple fritter and a couple others. The prices were VERY reasonable and the doughnuts were so very creamy and tasty! We will definitely make a return trip!

Extremely bad SERVICE AND WORKMENSHIP!

Five Star Bakery, has no pride in their own work. My sister’s Wedding Cake was a disaster, looked worse than a homemade cake; falling apart, ribbon trimming was dirty, designs falling apart, and parts of the cake was lumpy. I spoke to the owner (I was told he was the owner) and he not only stated that “he did not have time for something so insignificant” but he said that “You ate it right, you should have return it” as I complain about the cake the next morning. I proceeded to explain to him that not only did I send his cake back and demanded another, and I went to the bakery during the wedding reception to make sure that the second cake was done properly, which still came out bad since the baker used parts of the previous cake. My husband was trying to locate another cake from other bakeries but he had no luck. We had no choice but to accept the second cake.

Great bread and a great family atmosphere. Five Star has friendly people, good menudo and the best chocolate donuts in the border!
