I definitely give Mr. Huffaker a 5 in all categories. When we brought two of my husbands beloved antique clocks for cleaning and repair, he told us when he would have them ready and he called within a day of his estimate. His skills are unique and rare in this modern day. Our clocks are home keeping perfect time thanks to this knowledgeable gentleman.

Troy is incredible. He repaired a Coco clock that I wanted fixed, for a gift for my husband. It has been in his family for 30 years. He told me exactly what he would do to complete the repairs and how much it would cost. Troy did and excellent job and we are enjoying our clock every hour.

My mother recently passed away and left me a Herschede Grandmother clock that has been in my family for years but it had stopped working. After calling several people who did not have the knowledge to work on the clock I found Troy with Precision Clock Repair. He traveled up to Las Cruces and took most of the clock back with him. Not only did he get it running he showed me when the clock was built back in 1919. He is very knowledgeable about clocks and he takes pride in his work. Troy did an exceptional job repairing antique clocks that date to 1880. Of note was his fine work of making 4 ornamental wooden pieces on a vienna regulator wall clock. The clock now looks and runs as if new. Great work. COL (R) John H.

Troy is truly an expert in his profession. My Howard Miller clock that was given to me by my grandparents had basically stopped working, don't think it had been serviced at all in the past 28 years. Troy's a master. Our Howard Miller clock, which we've depended upon for 34 years recently gave up the ghost. Could't find anyone in Las Cruces to effect repairs. Local furniture store recommended Precision Clock; what a find. Troy found that replacement parts were not available. He asked that we give him a couple of days to get creative. After 5 hours of labor, and redesigning the internal mechanism, the thing is chiming away and getting us back on schedule. If one takes their inoperable clock somewhere else, they're making a huge mistake.

Moved across the US to Las Cruces, NM, and during the journey the moving company damaged two of my much loved antique clocks. I took my clocks to Troy at A Precision Clock Repair, and fortunately he was able to repair both clocks and return them to pristine condition. He is an amenable, knowledgeable craftsman and I was delighted to find him and will always return to him if and when necessary.

In the 30 years that my wife an I have been purchasing fine antique and new clocks we do not remember anyone telling us that they should be serviced on a regular basis. We should have known, but never thought about it until an antique grandfather and a mercury clock began to give us problems.
