Harding Elementary is a school that provides academic instruction and learning opportunities to more than 280 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school offers classes in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. It provides instruction in physical education, computer technology, and visual and performing arts. Harding Elementary also manages a library. The school encourages students to participate in a student council and conflict mediation training sessions, as well as buddy and mentoring programs. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher association that conducts fundraising events and activities. Harding Elementary is one of the educational facilities managed by the West Contra Costa Unified School District.
