Agree with other reviews!! Don't let him near your home!!!

Our AC had been working great for the past year, but stopped cooling enough just a few days ago. Robert Sanchez was sent by Old Republic warranty. He was rude and told us all the things that were done wrong by others: where the thermostat was placed, how the vents were not done right, how we should be turning the AC on early in the day, instead of when it starts getting warm, etc... He never bothered to check the coil in the attic or the temperature differential. He just stated that there was nothing that anybody could do to fix the AC. When asked if we should get a new unit he responded that we probably couldn't get that without spending thousands of dollars getting the ducting up to code and to get a permit to put in the new AC. Such utter nonsense!!

Same as the other reviews. Robert Sanchez was sent by AHS warranty company. Within minutes he said that the roof of my home was attached incorrectly and wanted to see the home inspection. He tried to tell AHS that I was trying to fraud them, They told Mr. Sanchez to write an estimate for the repairs... not to try and investigate my claim. He wanted to tear into three walls and two floors to fix a problem that turned out to be a damper switch on the wall.

100% agree with this post. I too had called Old Repiblic when our AC unit was not working. "Bob" Sanchez came to my home and within minutes was telling me how wrong everything was with my home. Told me I should have paid numerous inspectors who are experts in their fields because according to "Bob" home inspectors are generally not qualified to inspect homes. So he was in my home for about 15-20min and told me the house was built wrong 30yrs ago. He himself turned my thermostat down to 57 degrees and said it would cool the home slowly. Never did. 4 hrs later it was 85 in my house and now no air at all. He was re-called and did an even worse job. I had to have a second AC company come out to eval the unit. I told them about what "Bob" said. Guess what "Bob" you were wrong. Don't ever use this guy. He is cranky, rude, and un-professional. Some people take pride in their homes like we do and don't need your un-wanted opinions about what you did or did not do in your house. I sincerely hope Old Republic reads these reviews and drops you off their contract list. Meanwhile me and my family have been dealing with a broken AC unit in the heat for over 10 days becasue of this guy's obsurd conclusions.

We were assigned to Sanchez by Old Republic Home Warranty to look into our heating & a/c issues. When Sanchez contacted us to set up service which I have to say he sounded as if he was going to be at our home next day which would have been great EXCEPT he began to ask so many questions to the point it felt like he did not want to come out to see the problem himself/do the job. He demanded to know what our home inspection report stated when we purchased the home; which is not even a requirement of the home warranty company. When I told him our physical inspection report was not an issue for him to be concerned about he became rude. I explained I had a code violation discovered by SDGE when SDGE came to check on the heating unit. I told him I had cover for this type of repair. He did not want to set an appt until the code violation was repaired. I expressed I understood it to be his job to check out the unit and report his findings to the home warranty company. Everything else would be between the Old Republic and our household. I called to discuss this with Old Republic and they agreed Sanchez was out of line. We are glad this rude negative person is not going to invade our home.
