I had some issues with my tanks, from another shop. Gene and Andy at Atlantic Divers were very knowledgeable and serviced my tanks and got me back diving in only a few days. The bill was very reasonable. Definitely a professional operation!

If you want to learn how to dive, either for just recreation on vacation or more serious wreck diving off the New Jersey Coast, I can think of no other person to choose to learn from then Gene Peterson. His knowledge and vast experiences in the world of diving are second to none. If you are looking for a safe and fun experience, you must choose Atlantic Divers. You will not regret it.

Meeting Gene Peterson and discovering Atlantic Divers 20+ years ago opened up a whole new world and made me a better diver. A serious shop for serious divers! I travel from Texas to dive shipwrecks off the NJ coast. I have a personal project of diving wrecks of ships which were built by my shipbuilding ancestors in the late 1800s. Gene has taken a sincere interest in the project and has been amazing in helping me with it. He recently facilitated dives of two of those wrecks in Nova Scotia. Gene makes extreme efforts to assist divers, and he is a really great guy. He is super organized and very proficient in every aspect of wreckdiving. You can't go wrong by diving with Atlantic Divers. Gene and his crew are very professional and create a very relaxed and enjoyable diving experience. Gene will do everything he can to assure that all of your diving needs are taken care of, and that your diving experience with Atlantic Divers is positive and fulfilling. NJ has the best wreckdiving anywhere and Gene is the best guide for diving those wrecks... in NJ waters and beyond!

Atlantic Divers is "The Serious Wreck Diver's Choice" and if you are diving North Atlantic wrecks this is the place to go for training and to sign up for dives. The trend in diving is to dumb down the training and, while that may work for some warm water diving some of the time, if you want to dive with the best it is best to be trained by the best. I look to Gene Peterson and Atlantic Divers for excellent advice, equipment and service.

Gene is a great guy, the classes offered are very comprehensive and of course the service is superb - second to none!

This shop is great. The training is top-notch and the service concerns itself with safety. After all, it's an environmentu unsuitable for humans without proper training and equipment. People have come feminine the other side of the world to dive with this knowledgeable crew.
