As I walked into Bacchus Wine & Spirits, I knew what I was after. Strolling down the center aisle, and took my fourth right.Past the what seemed to be infinite choices of wine, and was greeted by yet another sea of wonderful varietals. I had completely forgot about the bottle of Ketal One I had come in for. Surrounded now by wonderful labels of wines, I became overwhelmed from all of the specifics from varietal, vintage, and vineyards. While I was wondering exactly what to get for the evening, Karen approached me with a friendly smile and a fantastic knowledge of all that was in front of me. After a few minutes expanding my own limited knowledge, Karen helped pick out a great Luigi Bosca Malbec. I was thrilled with the atmosphere that Bacchus provides, and the friendly service was nice compared to the usual liquor store. I have continued to go back each and ever time I need a wonderful wine, which happens to be more now that I know about Bacchus.
