A few years ago a friend told me about Mike - since then I've never gone anywhere else! He is busy - an appointment is necessary - there can be a wait - but he is SUPER talented -has very FAIR prices - and most importantly is- HONEST!

My car is a wreck - Mike assures me he will tell me the day when it is no longer worth it to repair the car - but he is certain there is another 20,000 miles in it. So far he is right and my pocketbook can't afford anything new. Mike has not only helped me in his shop - but also has saved me while out on the road. I used to take my car on longer trips out of state. More than once I had to call him from the road and tell him what was happening with the car - knowing that I would need to get it fixed in the next town. Mike always tells me what to tell the mechanics there - and he has saved me from many a high bill when there is no choice but to get it fixed somewhere else. My car no longer goes out on long trips - but Mike keeps it working in town.

There is nothing fancy about the crowed shop - there may be no one to greet you on a given day when you walk in - it is a no frills shop - but if you want great work, fair prices, and HONESTY - then this is the shop for you. If you're lucky - there will be a tootsie roll waiting for you when you get there!

Mike Holman is a gifted mechanic, fair on the prices and keeps our fleet of 3 cars running in prime shape. He never sells you something you do not need. I mostly like his ability to diagnose things accurately. He has a busy shop so you do have to make an appointment, but you have to do this anywhere else for anything more than an oil change.

This guy is fair! Good prices probably looking for return business. Honest! Who can say that about many of them out there??
