Johnson Litho Graphic of Eau Claire previously operated as Johnson Printing Company from 1915 until 1978 when the name was changed. The company s prepress and art department can accept projects digitally on Macintosh- or PC-based files and will screen them for quality before sending the digital proof to the plate setter. The pressroom consists of both heat-set and sheet-fed printing presses, including a Mitsubishi eight-color, 40-inch press with a tower coater, the top press on the market. Johnson s bindery is equipped with the latest equipment to manufacture and ship the final product. Its capabilities include cutting, folding, collating, stitching, trimming, die cutting, embossing, scoring and numbering.
