We have used Appliance Service Company of Eau Claire in the past, and again this week to repair our washer. Our experiences with them has been stellar and our recommendation and endorsement is very, very high. It is great to find an organization that does GREAT work in a TIMELY fashion at a FAIR price? you cannot beat that combo. Our family highly recommends you consider using them the next time you need service expertise beyond your own capabilities to prolong your valuable appliances. Two bad encounters on two separate occasions with this company. The service man took the front of my washer off (2mins) looked at the belt and told me it looked ok and gave me a 5 min run around "on the works of a washer" then stated he could change the belt which would be $165 some dollars which may not fix the problem as it looked ok. Why change it then?! Then states the service fee is good for 90 days, if the problem continues or gets worse to call. I said its been doing it for a while, thinking to myself like it's going to fix itself?! That's why I called a "service" company. Without giving me any lead to the issue puts my washer front back on and states the cost it $67. I stated I'm sorry but I will not be paying this, you were here for 10 mins and I was not given any diagnostic. He states, "your a nurse right? So when I go to the doctor and they tell be nothing is wrong I can tell them I'm not paying?" It's a washer with parts not a human body!! Quite unprofessional and his testiness actually made me a bit uncomfortable as he proceeded to ramble on. I stated when you came to fix a broken latch on my microwave it took over a month and 3 trips due to bringing the wrong parts. He stated, "Well it got fixed didn't it." My landlord made the house call prior and I did not realize it was the same company or I surely would not have called them back I stated. I thanked him for his time and stated I'd pay a portion but not $67 for nothing...he collected his items and left in silence.

THEY DONT CHARGE $75.00 FLAT FEE, IT'S $36.00 TO DIAGNOSE YOUR PROBLEM IF YOU BRING IT TO THEM. $75.00 FOR LOCAL IN HOME DIAGNOSIS. SMALL BUSINESS WITH GOOD PRICES. THEY CAN GET PARTS IN QUICK AND GET IT FIXED - CHEAPER THAN SEARS!!!

They are spendy ($75 to look at anything), but they show up on time. I appreciated that my repairman didn't try to sell me anything, and told me the long range outlook if I had the repair done. They have also been good on holidays/emergencies.

overpriced, didn't have item in stock ( part was to an ancient oven, so this is understandable). very courteous receptionist/parts person.
