I am a strong believer in relationship-centered care. When the patient and the physician or the patient and the front-desk or nursing staff form a relationship based in honesty, kindness and vulnerability, that is when magic happens. We have the great opportunity over time to really get to know one another so that we can collaboratively work toward health and weather the storms along the way. I grew up in Quakertown and have family throughout Bucks County. Following college, I went to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed residency here in the Lehigh Valley. I worked in Allentown before joining St. Luke’s. I see patients of all ages and have actually cared for four generations of several families, which has been a great privilege. I love teaching, particularly medical students, and look forward to incorporating teaching into my practice at St. Luke's. I like to stress to my patients that it is safe to be honest with me and it is normal to have questions or setbacks in your quest for health. We'll work together to get you what you need whether it's help with healthy habits or the more complex disease that sometimes comes down the road for all of us despite our best efforts. I live in the Lehigh Valley with my husband, who is a professor at Muhlenberg College, and our four children. My lovely and patient mother is a regular at our house, and has gifted us with her presence watching the children while I work. It’s a busy household. When I'm not trying to herd the children, I love reading, music, running on my treadmill, growing and arranging flowers and Nordstrom's.
