Just ate here again last nigh...

We just ate here again last night, this is our favorite place. We had the meatball appetizer which was two good sized meatballs cooked perfect, still moist and the sauce was very good. For our main course, my wife ordered the asparagus and ricotta agnolotti and it was excellent. My meal was swordfish which I almost did not order as I feel most over cook it. This was with a romesco sauce over eggplant cofit, it was the best swordfish I have ever eaten. And we had our favorite desert anywhere Ella's hot sticky pudding, chocolate cake with homemade sweet potatoe ice and cream and toffee sauce. It is great to know when you leave a place you pretty much always leave very happy with the food and the service is even better.

If you haven't tried yet, you don't know what you're missing. The owner/chef has a such a passion for cooking, that it arrives on every dish that he prepares. Mark truly loves to cook and uses fresh ingredients. He recently had a demonstration dinner to benefit Multiple Sclerosis, that was fabulous.! Great Restaurant & Great Owners!

After a long day of travel to ...

After a long day of travel to the Cape we happened upon Ella's and were quite surprised by the decor inside, simple and elegant. We were tired and had a sausage pizza. Best pizza we have EVER had. Perfectly cooked in the wood oven! I was watching the entrees delivered to nearby tables and they looked wonderful. We will come back soon when we have time to savor the quisine. My husband and I were in a bit of a hurry to get to our hotel and our waitress April was more than accomodating. Prices were reasonable, especially for such stand out food.

Rude person at the door yelled at us after we asked how long !She was not the right woman to put up front-and I couln't hear my friends during dinner-too many tables for a small place. My Lamb was raw, stick to pizza the rest of the menu is tricky. We thought it was expensive for what we had.Don't go if you didn't call ahead the mean lady upfront acts like its the Ritz. The bar is right in your face while your eating too little a space uncomfortable chairs.

Finally a five-star restaurant in Wareham! Everything from the brick oven pizza to the filet mignon is terrific. Wait staff is great and very informative. Can't wait to go back!

Friendly, warm and the food is scrumptious; the menu is extensive with something for everyone. I recommend the porch chops or the scrod. The wood burning over made for a delicious flavor on the roasted potatoes. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy without feeling stuffy. I highly recommend.
