Provided by YPmobileMy friend was moved Burcham Hills as an emergency respit. We struggled to make permanent arrangements for her. When her last day came up, she was told they were kicking her out whether she had a place to go or not. They then left her in her room alone for 3 hours and didn't contact any of us. When we finally got notified (by Hospice, not Burcham Hills) and got to her, she was terrified and anxious. We were dealing with the situation and there was no reason to upset and then abandon her. Their actions showed they were more worried about their bottom line than their patients. I will NEVER let anyone I care about near that facility.
