I have been going to Tame Your Mane for 2 years now. My hair is healthier and stronger now than it ever was going anywhere else. The stylists and all of the people that work there are so friendly and caring towards all of their clients. I have also been getting my lashes and nails done there as well and are by far the best I’ve ever seen or have had. Will never go anywhere else!

For me to say I was disappointed with the services is an understatement. I had a make-up appointment for 11 am. I was the bride so I had scheduled it about 6 months in advance to make sure I could get in. I get there at 10:50 am check-in and sit there til 11:30 when I finally had enough I asked when I would get my make up done they rudely told me I still had a person in front of me.. It was a half an hour after my scheduled appointment and I still had someone in front of me! They could have at least let me know when I got there that they were behind. On your wedding day you don't have time for delays that long. I could have been fine with a 15 min leeway but that was ridiculous. Even when I told them I couldn't wait any longer they seemed annoyed I even spoke to them. Keeping appointments clearly is not top priority there and neither is decent service. Needless to say I'm never going to get a re-do with my wedding day and I'm disgusted I booked at Tame Your Mane.

This appears to be a very good place to get hair services done but anything to do with your eyelashes seems to be a different story. I had an eyelash perm done around Christmas done that made my eyelashes stick straight out. I was told that for some reason my eyelashes didn't react to the perm solution correctly. The girl said she would give it another try buy couldn't make any promises. $30 down the drain. She suggested eyelash extensions and after I saved up for costly procedure I made an appointment. Kelly, who had also done the eyelash perm, was friendly and seemed well pleased with her job after it was done. Considering I couldn't have my contacts in at the time I did not get a real good look until I left. I had told Kelly that I couldn't see well and she assured me that they looked "AWESOME". When I got me contacts back in I was shocked. They were crocked and there were a lot more on one eye than the other. Some were even upside down. By the time I called Kelly was gone and would not be back in for 3 days. I work with the public and cannot go to work looking like that. What a mess !! I had paid $150 for the service and now had to make a trip over 60 miles away and paying another $75 to get them removed. I have ended up with almost no lashes left at all. I did get ahold of her 3 days later when she was in again and requested a refund (I would have settled for a partial refund) but she said she thought the looked good and would have to asked the business owner about any refund. I would hear from her the next day. I have not heard a word at all. This is bad business. Anyone can have bad day at work and not perform well but ignoring the issue is wrong. I should have been offered a refund of some type. Word of mouth goes a long way and this was not clear thinking on the part of this salon owner. The place where I got them removed stated that there was no way possible that the person who had applied them was certified and that it had all the signs of a self-taught application. I agree and lesson learned.

Overpriced

I quit going here.1st in the door, last to leave.Paid top dollar for everyone to do my hair but the one I booked with.Even walk ins were taken ahead of me while I sat and waited.got tired of being made to feel like my time wasn't important. Save ur money, go elsewhere.

Empty your wallet and your schedule!

Julie Potter (the owner) is absolutely AWESOME. I won't let anyone else get near my hair with scissors. The only complaints I have are the high prices and lack of time management. Everything else is above expectation!
