New Penn is a regional motor carrier that provides transportation services through a network of more than 20 service centers located in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The company has a staff of more than 2,000 employees and operates a fleet of over 850 tractors and nearly 1,700 trailers. In addition, New Penn serves air and ocean ports at New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia. It is an operating unit of YRC Regional Transportation, which is one of the largest providers of asset- and nonasset-based transportation services. New Penn has been operational for more than 60 years and maintains a location in Dunmore, Pa.
