Even though we made it very clear to the sales staff that we would not be installing our flooring for several weeks, we were encouraged to buy it right away. We were told that the sale price of the hardwood floor we were interested in was at a particularly good, and that we could return unused boxes of flooring. What we were not told was that returns have to be made within 30 days.



When we attempted to bring back some unused flooring, we were refused.

If salespeople are going to use the fact that you can return unused flooring as a tool to make a sale, they should also be informing customers that this offer is only good for 30 days. We would not have bought the flooring from Lumber Liquidators if we had known this.



We strongly suggest that you buy flooring from a reputable dealer, not Lumber Liquidators— one that is upfront and complete about their terms of sale.
