Duck's Cottage is an amazing little coffee shop! It is my favorite store in the Outer Banks. The food and service and unbeatable.

This is the BEST coffee shop in the Outer Banks! Not only is the coffee excellent, the service is just as great. They offer a variety of books to purchase, as well as great finds from artists from the island. When I am staying down here, I visit Ducks Cottage at least twice a day.

go to Ducks Cottage. Quiet, friendly with all the newspapers and books you could ever want or need. The coffee and pastry are exceptional, especially the bada-bing biscotti and the steamed bran muffin. This is what Starbucks should be like. Allen and his crew make everyone feel welcome. This is my 6th summer here, and coffee in the morning at Ducks Cottage is one of the best traditions for me when I'm in the Outer Banks.
