Japan One Japanese/Thai Restaurant was my first experience with Thai food. The wait staff were very helpful in my selection Penang Curry. I loved it ! I thought when i walked in it would be very expensive . But to my surprise it was very reasonable.I think this may be my new favorite restaurant in Du Bois.

We recently moved here from Pittsburgh and we love our sushi so needless to say we were disappointed that there wasn't a sushi place, then we discovered Japan One. After reading some reviews we decided to give it a try. The sushi here is amazing and rivals some of the best places we have been. Highly recommend! You won't be sorry :)

If you love Pad Thai you'll love menu item D-1 at Japan One on the Bee Line in Du Bois, PA.It was $7.95 on Feb. 14, 2013. The Thai iced tea at $2.50 was delicious. It has only been open one month. I look forward to becoming a regular here. I used to live in L.A. where there is a Thai restaurant on every corner. Japan One is as good as any of them.

I have been dreaming of the day that DuBois had their very own authentic Thai restaurant and it has finally happened. Having proclaimed Thai food as one of my favorites after two decades in the DC Metro area, I can say that Japan One is one of the best I have had. We sampled the Dragon Roll, Pad See Ew (shrimp) and Panang Curry (chicken)...the Dragon Roll was fresh and the flavors of the entrees were just right! The portions were overly generous. The owners did a nice job of shutting out the surrounding commercial area with wooden shutters on the windows and a pleasant decor and music to go along.
