Dr. Goeckeritz loves being a part of the Draper community and serving its residents.

He is a Utah native born and raised in the Cottonwood area and moved to Draper in 1994. He attended the University of Utah where he graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in German.After graduating from the U of U, Dr. Goeckeritz moved his family to Richmond, Virginia so he could attend Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. While in Virginia, Dr. Goeckeritz was selected with four other classmates to participate in a dental service mission to Jamaica. In a small village located outside of Duncans, Jamaica, they were able to address and treat the dental needs of the local people. This life changing experience became the foundation for a continuing desire to provide service for those who need it, and a passion for community and volunteer service. Dr. Goeckeritz earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in General Dentistry.He graduated from VCU School of Dentistry as one of the top in his class, earning the highest honors achievable as a student and numerous awards and scholarships for his study and dedication to the field of Dentistry. During his years in Virginia, he sought to learn the latest developments in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.After returning to Utah, Dr. Goeckeritz worked for Dr. Spencer Woodbury in a high end cosmetic and family dental office, as well as with Dr. Spencer Wagner in a pediatric dental office. He truly enjoyed this time to refine his skills and garner what he could from two very good and experienced dentists.Dr. Goeckeritz settled his family in Draper as soon as they returned from Virginia. One year later, he was afforded the opportunity to purchase and establish his practice in Draper.After working tirelessly for months, he opened his doors and welcomed both old and new patients to his practice. Dr. Goeckeritz was very excited to begin a new practice in which he was able to take all that he had learned over the years and combine it with the latest advances in the dental field to create a truly unique dental experience. His education and training, as well as his treatment philosophies are always focused on his patients and their needs.Dr. Goeckeritz is thrilled to be in Draper and looks forward to providing you with the highest quality dental care. It is his goal to offer the best service available to you and become a dentist you truly trust and love.
