I attended this church when I lived in GA. It is a spirit filled bible based church. My relationship with God blossomed at Day Star. If you don't want the truth this is not the place for you; go somewhere where you will not be held accountable.

May the Lord bless this man and the flock under his supervision. May the Lord make all paths straight, speaking sound doctrine for all those who listen. Bless this flock and let the spirit of truth be evident

WOW! I served at this church for about 18 years before I was wise enough to know that I could leave with the blessings of God. I've been gone for about 8 years now and know many people still there. They amazing thing about reading these reviews is that the people I know that are still there insist that change has come. Most of you who have shared your experiences have proven them incorrect. After being at this ministry for 18 years I can attest to everything written below is true. This man needs spiritual authority or a board strong enough to speak correct his error driven ways. I don't think that most of his congregants are there because of the words he speak but because of the relationships they've developed. It's hard to find people that genuine love you and will help you through what ever your plight is. However the pastor is a whole different subject. I would love for the government to take a look at the finances down there. Among all the things mention below, no one has mentioned the lack of controls and audits of the monies given that ministry

controllin pastor tht tries to dictate ur every move claim he's has ur best interest n mind whn actually wants 2 keep u under his twisted mind if u want a pastor who wil not only forbid u from dating if u r single , one who yells n scream at u whn he is angry oh, did i forget he also throws stuff (like microphones ) whn the sound mess up & call u names like stupid n ignorant... God forbid (being sarastic) if u get accepted n college out of state dont think he will give u his blessing he wil try n tell u NOT to go y he's afraid if u discover the world outside of tht small town u will see wht he has been sayin are all lies , thn by all mean this is the place for u(blank stare) this is just a few of the things i witness first hand when i was there once i left i realize tht this church operates like an OCCULT & he abuse u spiritually SPIRITUAL ABUSIVE- pls if u dont read anything i have post but this - pls pls DONT go there not even to visit they wil hunt u down until u join there pack ...i wouldnt even give it a star but i had to rate it n order for my comment to post there are some REAL churches n Douglasville GA but not this one ..KEEP searching ..GOD will lead u to the right place
