Founded in 1887, Troy University is is a public university with an enrollment of more than 29,000 students. Its courses are approved by the state of Alabama s Articulation and General Studies Committee. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate degree programs and over 15 graduate degree programs. Troy University s athletic program participates at the Division I level in several men s and women s sports, including baseball, football, basketball and volleyball.
