From a 10" Sashimi Knife designed to split hairs to a 7/8" Auger Bit designed to burrow holes in wood, 3xSharp's obligation to our customer remains the same regardless of what the tool/blade is. Remove the least amount of metal from your edge in order to gain a sharp and properly angled one at a fair price. Common sense tells you a sharp edge is easier to use and last much longer than a dull one. But, believe it or not, you are less likely to cut yourself with a sharp edge. The reason being, most accidents happen when you are trying to force the edge to cut by placing tremendous pressure on it instead of letting the edge do the work for you like it was designed to do. And a freshly sharpened edge from 3xSharp will do just that. By blending old-world craftsmanship with current tools, we give you a perfectly angled edge. We utilize a water-cooled stone and jig system that helps achieve the correct geometry. Not a jig that is locked into place forever, but one that's fully adjustable. From 4 degrees to the 70's. This adjustable jig system simply allows us to put an identical edge on the other side of the blade/tool if needed. We then place the tool/knife on a unique motorized leather stropping system (if needed for that particular edge) using the same jig, then we couple it to four different sharpening compounds that give you an edge that's beyond razor sharp it's downright scary sharp!
