I was referred to Weber and Leth Law office from a close friend who had Melanie Leth represent her in her divorce case a few years prior. I called for a consultation with Ms. Leth. When I arrived I was greeted by Mr. Tim Woessner who is an attorney at the law firm. I was informed by him that Ms. Leth rarely takes divorce cases anymore and he was asked to see me instead. He assured me that he had ample experience and would be working closely with Ms. Leth on my case. With hesitation I did agree to have Mr. Woessner represent me in my divorce. This was absolutely the WORST decision I could have made. I truly wish I could write a positive review as I would be sitting in a much better position than I currently am in. Mr. Woessner provided me with terrible legal advice and advised me to proceed with certain agreements that I had questioned. I honestly could have represented myself better and at the very least I COULD NOT have done worse than Mr. Woessner! Commmunication was VERY POOR on Mr. Woessners end. He was sloppy, unorganized and many times I questioned whether he even knew Minnesota divorce laws as he should have. After talking with a few different lawyers afterwards and presenting all of my court papers, email exchanges, etc ALL of them agreed that he was not a good advocate for me. He encouraged me to agree to things that were not in my best interest. Basically I was very poorly represented! Not only did the other law firms feel this way, but two different family mediators/psychologist/family therapist who worked on my case also agreed. He appeared to be an amateur at best in court. PLEASE DO NOT retain Mr. Woessner for your divorce case, you will be greatly disappointed as I am. I have never written a review on anything before but I feel this is far to important to sit back quietly and let this "lawyer" ruin anyone else's life!
