We contacted Michigan Works in order to find temp. full time employees for the next couple months in the Detroit area. $11.00/hr to sart with a 1099 . Very simple work no serious education required. General labor. I had called MI Works to acquire resumes from potential employees and had received only one call back in two weeks. Wow! I thought there were people who needed work in MI, especially Detroit.

Apparently, not the case.

Once I called Michigan Works to express my concern they promised to call me back the following week. Well, that never happened either. They perform as those we would NOT hire or retain. Cannot do what you need and do not care to follow any request. Undependable and simply jot reliable.



Apparently, state programs make it too EZ for the unemployed or they are depending on help from MI works to find work. Either way its a loosing deal for MI business and those who are really willig and needing to work. Very surprising and disappointing.
