Horrible Experience!
Gary Lavine has been my stylist and claims to own this salon. While a good stylist, he will not allow the slightest criticism or REQUEST that you get the hairstyle you request. He became increasingly moody and had some kind of explosive, angry, aggressive fit today, screaming that everybody had been "bi******" at him. He used foul language and screamed abusively. There was no argument, just a bizarre fit when I said I wished he would give me the same haircut he had been giving me for years, instead of the "New Vision" haircut he insisted on doing because he was "tired" of my old haircut. I will NEVER go there again.

Gary is my style master. When I moved to the area I tried several of the top salons but finally found my hair home here. This salon values your time. When I'm feeling trendy or edgy, Gary has the perfect cut. Right now I'm feeling classic and he just gave me the perfect cut for that too. He opened up a new world for me by teaching me to use a hair straightener!Make an appointment here. They give the time and attention you deserve. My only complaint is that it's hard to sit still when he's cutting my hair because Gary makes me laugh so hard!

This really is the best salon in Destin. I have been to pretty much all of them and I'm glad to say I have finally found one I love. I look forward to going in every 6 weeks to get my hair done. The atmosphere is great, and everyone that works there is very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend any stylist at C'est La Vie as I have seen them all to accomodate my schedule. Book an appointment with C'est La Vie, you won't be disappointed!

Wrong color (not even close) and wrong cut. Stylist was nice but had to confer with another stylist about which chemicals to use. I felt uncomfortable when the stylist gossiped about another stylist and then a patron. I asked if I can return the next day to fix my hair and they offered one time slot, in which I couldn't make that time nor did I want the stylist to 'fix' it. This is a small salon with 4 stylist. I would not recommend.

This is hands-down the best salon I've ever gone to. The stylists are very professional yet very down-to-earth, nice people. My hair has never looked better and my time at C'est la Vie Salon is always special.
