they didn't fix my car the first time, even though they charged me almost $600 and had my car over a week. then they had the nerve to ask me to pay more to fix it again. when i got my car back, they had broken my cruise control and wouldn't fix it until i complained several times and had to get my salesman involved. then when i got my car back they had broken the windshield wipers!!!! both of these items were working perfectly fine the very day i took my car into service. the service adviser, technicians and the service manager are all incompetent idiots, and the general manager is an arrogant liar. he is condescending, rude and actually hung up the phone on my husband. what kind of business hangs up on the customer, no matter how heated the conversation? and this was after we had called him at least 5 times and he was so rude he would not answer the phone or even call us back. i will never, ever step foot on the property again. i have told everyone i know of my experience, and i even tell strangers if i am at the gas station or a store and notice that they purchased their car at this crooked dealership. also, i am in the process of putting reviews on every consumer review site on the internet and on facebook. no one in my family will ever buy another car from these crooks!!! i also have called other chevrolet dealerships and have spread the word about how chuck fairbanks does business. not surprisingly, most of the dealerships i have talked to tell me that they have already heard how bad of a reputation chuck fairbanks chevrolet has locally. i have friends that own a business dealing directly with the local automotive industry, and i told them about my experience. they guessed which dealership i was talking about before i even told them!!! they told me that it was well known that chuck fairbanks chevrolet was a dirty business that cheated their customers. also, there are bad reviews online all over the place. i just wished i had read them before i took my car into have it serviced there. horrible experience, this dealership should be shut down or at least have new management brought in and the current fools fired!!! (sorry this review is in all lower-case letters, for some reason when i pasted it, it was converted to all lower-case)
