Can I give less than 1 star? I wish that I could! The owner, Steve Hutchison, did not complete the survey in the time frame that he had originally promised. When my husband contacted him, Steve was told that we needed the survey done as quickly as possible because our home construction project was on hold until the survey could be completed. He assured us that he would complete the survey the following week, yet it took him two additional weeks to get out to the property. Then, in spite of being paid in advance for the report, and in spite of promising on numerous occasions to send us the report, it has been an additional five weeks and he will not return our calls, nor will he send the report. We have now been delayed two months with our project, and the weather will probably now be too cold to start at any time in the near future. Luckily, I paid the fee by credit card and was able to get a refund of the fee we paid. But then we had to hire another surveyor and start all over. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

I received the name of this company from my title company and lender. They told me he was one of the best surveyors in the area. I made an appointment he showed up on time listened to what I had to say and started the job. He completed the job with short notice before my closing. I would recommend Midwest Land Survey to anyone. Ray A.

I neglected to look at online reviews before calling this survey company. I called to set up an appointment to determine if a home site was in a flood zone. Steve answered the phone and said he would call the next day to set up a time to get it done. I told him I only had a 10 days till closing on the loan. I didn't hear back so I called and left a message 2 days later. Still nothing. By this time I had already made arrangements with another company. Steve called back 7 days after he said he would, I didn't answer the phone. He called again the next day, I picked up and told him he cost me a lot of money by being lazy and not calling me back when he said he would. This manchild sent me a dirty e-mail immediately after he hung up on me. I have no idea how someone that acts this way owns a business. I'm sure he has a huge list of angry people that have made the mistake of calling him.

This company will requested full payment over 2 weeks before the date the work was to be completed. They did NOT complete the work by the time they advised me. They did NOT return my phone calls the day it was supposed to be completed. They did NOT accept my phone calls the day after ig was to be completed. Here I am 4 days after the date it was supposed to be completed still waiting. This company is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and I would not recommend anyone to use their services
