Angel View has been doing business since its founding in 1954. The organisation specializes in providing residential care to developmentally disabled infants, toddlers, children and young adults throughout the Southern California. Its 19 six-bed homes, located throughout the Coachella Valley (the Palm Springs area) and in Joshua Tree provide nursing and attendant care. Some of the services offered include psychological, optometry, psychiatric, work programs, dietary, occupational therapy, and educational and vocational training. The organization serves special individuals with acquired head injuries, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, neuromuscular diseases, autism, seizure disorders and spina bifida, among others.
