Prism Title misspelled the name of one of the buyers on all of the closing documents for our house in Chicago. The spelling was corrected with white-out on the deed. All the other documents filed with the city and the Title Insurance documents still show the wrong spelling, as does the mailing address on the documents we just received from Prism almost three months after the close. Prism clearly couldn't be bothered to correct their records despite the hefty fee they receive for this transaction. A title company so unconcerned about details is one that should be avoided.
