i have had a home mortgage wiith wells fargo for 10 years. a year ago I knew that i needed help with my mortgage. I heard about the home affordable loan program for those with freddie mac or fannie mae loans. i called wells fargo and was told by their representative that i could not apply because i had a freddie mac loan. i was laid off in july 2011 I found out I had been lied to by wells fargo - those of us with freddie mac loans were eligible. I applied for the home affordable loan. I have faxed the required documents 4 times sent them by FedEX 3 times and they threatened me with taking me off the list of eligible. I had to contact my congress person to intervene. they were all nicey nice at first then after telling me for six weeks that the broker had to valuate the property, I get a call that my documents were outdated and I had to resend updated hardship letters. American citizens bailed them out yet their management staff received bonus' from the bail out and they are making me wait months and submit all over again. what goes around comes around that rep that attempted to humiliate me will get all she deserves

I do not have an account with Wells Fargo, but I do have experience dealing with them. Everytime I have had the displeasure of dealing with a branch of Wells Fargo I have gotten nothing but grief from their bank tellers. The employees always start out really nice and try to convince you to open an account with them. Everytime that I have declined their offer to open me an account their demeanor changes and all of the sudden my being there doesn't matter so much anymore. They have been rude and once they actually refused to cash a check from one of there customers because I was not an account holder. I would not recommend Wells Fargo to anyone for any reason!
