Had great Gumbo and Catfish catered for a party at our house. The owners are great to work with and everyone loved the food. Would recommend them to anyone!

The food is great. Atmosphere could be upgraded, but people are nice and food is great.

The gumbo is great! My wife and I eat here all the time. If you like Cajun style food then this is a great dinner choice.

We love to see live music while we eat. When we visited Fat Tuesday on a Friday night we had a blast! Felt like we were in New Orleans with the food and the music. Its nice to have someplace like this in Des Moines where you feel like you are on a vacation. The prices are great too!

I do not know what they do to the catfish, but i LOVE it!I usually do not eat catfish but its delicious. I also had the jambalaya and it is very good, just enough spice. I was glad to find out they have live blues music on fridays and saturdays, i will come back and enjoy the music with the food next time
