We had a horrible experience with this company. I had called ahead of time and was told that their repairs are 2-3 days. I was also told that they don't do anything with pre-approval. I dropped my vacuum off on Saturday afternoon. I called on Tuesday to check in. She was in Ames, so she would check on the status and call me back later that afternoon. She didn't. I called again on Wednesday. They still hadn't gotten to it, but she would call me later on that day. Again, she didn't. When I called her Thursday, she didn't answer. I had told her on Wednesday that I was going to pick up my vacuum on Thursday because I needed it and didn't expect for it to take this long. I can be patient, but if they told me 2-3 days and still hadn't gotten to it on the 3rd and 4th days, I need to know what's going on. But, she could never tell me anything. And, don't commit to calling someone back if you're not going to do it.
I went to pick up my vacuum on Thursday morning. I had presented, in writing, what I was looking to have done. When I arrived to pick up my vacuum, I was told that Dyson is making a bigger deal out of the part I needed to have replaced than was necessary. So, he did some other things (that I had not authorized) that should take care of my problem. I told him I wasn't pleased, and he just said he'd talk to his wife. Ok. Well, run your business how you want, but if what you want is unhappy customers, it's not going to last long. He told me that the beater brush wasn't spinning. Well, it was before I dropped it off. And now it squeals so loud that it hurts my ears. It didn't do that before.
I suppose had she not spent the entire time griping about their former landlord who evicted them "out of the blue for no reason" when I dropped off my vacuum, then maybe she would've been more focused on the issue and this would've gone differently. Maybe.

I stopped at Des Moines vacuum ,i found the vacuum i was looking for, for about half the price of other stores, the owner's were very helpful,polite, a friend of mine had bought a vacuum there and told me i should stop there before going to any other place, so he was right,so thank you Nate, for saving me some money

Amazing Deals!

I went to Des Moines Vacuum yesterday wanting bags for my Oreck. The deals there were so nice, I ended up getting a Kirby too! If I need anything, I'm going to Des Moines Vacuum.

Amazing turnaround

I own and operate my own cleaning company. Took all my commercial vacuums to Des Moines Vacuum for service. It was amazing how quickly they had them serviced and theprice was unbelieveable. Great for the Southside!!!

amazing prices but better yet is the customer service !!!!!!

went and bough a vacuum for bob the owner, i love it. they have the best prices and oustanding customer service
