nice friendly beer joint family owned/operated once upon a time super reasonable beer prices, but have gradually increased to the norm. If your looking for fu-fu drinks, look elsewhere!

One of my favorites when I'm in Des Moines!! For the most part friendly and fun people!! It's like a small town bar not a meat market or allot of drama!! The best part is the female bartenders treat the female patrons as well as she does the male patrons and that in itself is hard to find!!

usually is a very good bar to be out...understand some issues happend sun night but for most part no drama...really down to earth bar

A witness to some really nasty service. Bartender, really awful. Some sort of gossip, drama queen. Serves people she likes, and the others she lets sit and wait. Seems she has plenty of boyfriends and time to smoke. You want service, this isn't the bar!
