My husband and I have eaten at numerous upscale restaurants in Charlotte, NC and have not been overly impressed. Fortunately today (Father's Day) we discovered a phenomenal restaurant in Denver, NC called Chillfire Bar & Grill. The food was absolutely wonderful and the service was great (Thanks Lauren!). We had the fried lobster tails and crab dip as appetizers and they were delicious. If you love seafood, I strongly recommend the crab cakes as your main dish. My husband had more of the fried lobster tails for his main course. Yes, they were that good. Our side dishes were just as wonderful (spinach salad, broccoli and cheese, baked sweet potato). To top everything off, we had their coconut cake. All I can say is wow. It was the best cake that I have tasted in years. In short, I was more than impressed to say the least. Thank you to the management and staff of this fabulous restaurant! We will be returning to your establishment soon!
