I have held off on posting a review of T & G Flooring in hopes that they would stand behind their work and I could give an honest positive review. After reading Portia D's review (along with other's) I came to the realization that after they get their money there is no customer service and they DO NOT stand behind their work. If the work is repaired I will follow up my review, however at this point they are avoiding the situation. Tony has come out and said repairs were definitely needed. This was over 3 months ago. We can not get anyone to return a phone call or numerous emails to the owner, Chris Keale.

We spent thousands of dollars having our floors refinished. What started this project was some repair work in our bathroom due to a flood. T & G stated that they could not match the stain with the rest of the house so we would need to refinish the entire level to make it all match. They were going to remove and replace the wood pieces that were water damaged in the bathroom. They sent out a repairman who replaced a few boards and stated that the boards he left in just needed to be sanded and would not buckle (I never once saw him use a moisture reader so how he could determine the moisture level is beyond me).

The workmanship during the whole process was undesireable to say the least (I have lots of photos if anyone would like to view). Fortunately, Tony (the prior owner) along with Chris (the "new" owner) agreed that the floors were "not up to their standard." They had the crew resand (yes, we had to go through the entire mess yet again) and restain. It is understandable that some stain would get on the baseboards but our ENTIRE main level had to be repainted due to sloppiness (once again, pictures available). We were out of our kitchen for 2 1/2 weeks when we were originally told we would be out for approx 5 days. There are a few boards in the bathroom where the repair was done that have once again started buckling (these are the boards that were sanded instead of being replaced). Tony stated that these would need to be replaced and that someone would get back to me to schedule the repair. He also stated that he would need to be on the job to oversee the repair. This was three months ago. Not one phone call or email has been returned. Very frustrating.

UPDATE 12/16/2011 After 1 1/2 years the floor has FINALLY be repaired.
