Established in 1994, Native American Collections is a contemporary gallery that showcases Pueblo pottery, Indian jewelry, Zuni fetishes and Navajo folk art. Based in Denver, Colo., the gallery also carries books dealing with Native American Indian arts. Its potters utilize traditional techniques and materials for their work. Native American Collections features pottery from San Ildefonso, Santa Clara, Hopi, Cochiti, Acoma, Zia, Zuni, San Felipe and the the Navajo Nation. Additionally, Native American Collections creates Indian jewelry using sterling silver and traditional stones, such as turquoise, coral, lapis and jet.
