0 customer service or professionalism!

The dream merchant at first seems like a good deal to get a price between wholesale and retail for "designer" furniture. It is March 2019 and I bought a bed frame, dresser and mattress of one of their "luxury brands" at the end of Nov 2018, and they still have not got their sale fixed or correct. I have basically given up and will just take the losses.

It took until mid January of 2019 to get the furniture even though it was stated I'd receive the furniture in mid Dec 2019 in an email from the merchant. I accepted and said no big deal, come mid January they finally deliver the furniture but they Did not show up with the dresser. The delivery men stated it never came and I had to call the store. Even though the merchant stated prior to delivery all items would be delivered. When I called the store the staff seemed confused but came up with "sorry the warehouse had a fire" in January and now it will take until March to get the dresser. Whilst, it was in stock with the merchant and the vendor website stated to ship in Dec 2018. Not sure how it never got shipped in the 1.5 months it was in stock and now its in a fire.

At this point I refused to wait a total 4 months to get all pieces of the furniture I ordered. Although frustrated and taking weeks to answer, the Merchant finally refunded me for the dresser. I decided at this point I will keep the remainder of the furniture and use it. Since I never had the full furniture set I never used the bed, come almost 2 weeks later and finally getting refunded for the dresser I decide to use the bed. Come to notice there was cracking already on the new "luxury" furniture on headboard. (Supposed to be full walnut wood) Sent pictures Feb 1st asking them to fix it and they never came up with a solution. Now come March the Merchant is saying the vendor is saying I "took too long" to report the cracking and that nothing will be covered. This is 1 month after I asked them to contact the vendor.

Wasted almost $2000, aside from losing money they were never professional post sale and have 0 regard for customer satisfaction once they are paid. I basically will just take my losses because after 3-4 months of going back and forth it is not worth my time. I please advise everyone to stay far away from this garbage company! Not sure how a "family" business has been scamming people for this long.

The WORST store you will ever step into. They will take your money and leave you hanging to drip dry. Customer service is a lost concept to this privately owned business. You are their last concern, except for the money in your pocket.

Same great store it's always been. Since 1969! If you have a waterbed, they are a Godsend. Not many waterbed stores around anymore.

Good experience

We have shopped at this store a couple of times for futon mattresses and covers. We have found the employees to be very helpful and friendly, and the merchandise is competitively priced compared to other futon stores in the area. Great selection considering the small size of the store. We had a very positive experience both times.

Great Place to Get a Bed!

As a person disabled with chronic pain syndrome and a neck injury, I definately had special needs when it came to picking out a bed. The sales people at Dream Merchant were very helpful and knowledgeable and key in helping me find just the right matress and pillow to suit my specific needs. The prices at Dream Merchant are reasonable, they have a variety of matresses to choose from, dressers, couches, and bed frames, and are always very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this business.

Very Unsatisfied Customer

This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a furniture store!! Everything that came out of the owners mouth was a lie. We bought the furniture from this store on 10/23/2010 and was told it was in the warehouse and then it took 3 weeks for it to actually be delivered. Once delivered the chair wobbled due to a defective frame, we loaded it back up and took it to the store, and was told it would only take a week to get a replacement. Well needless to say we are going on 3 weeks again and still no chair. Just a little advice to you furniture hunters, if you plan on waiting over a month to get your furniture this is the place to go. I will never waste my time or money at this place again!!!!

Great Experience - Pillow Top water bed

Wow I bought a pillowtop water bed from the Dream Merchant almost 12 years ago - a wonderful bed that provides a great rest! I attempted to clean my pillow top with a water based solution and of course it got messed up so I called The Dream Merchant and was so surprised they still carry this bed and the salesmen knew exactly what I was looking for!!! So often times one buys items and a replacement piece is needed they buyer comes to find out that the item is no longer carried leaving the buyer to have to fork out all the money again!! I will continue to buy my bedding from these folks!! Great Job Dream Mechant - you are carry quality products that definately do not fly by night!!

Timeless !

Recently I was looking for a bunk/loft bed and grew frustrated with the suburban "big box" stores. A friend recommended Dream Merchants and they did a great job for me. Knowledgeable staff who listened to me and found a perfect match to their merchandise - with no mis-leading info and no hidden costs and no add-on's. I appreciate their extra effort to meet a tight delivery deadline. They made me feel like a valued customer. Also they have a huge array of quality merchandise and next time, I won't waste my time with other retailers - I'll go directly to these guys.

A very good furniture company to deal with!!!

I just moved to Denver and was referred to the Dream Merchant by a friend. I am very pleased with the better quality that I found compared to the other stores that I also visited and the prices were substantially lower. Nice to be able to deal with knowledgeable people that were helpful and friendly instead of the typical salespeople that I usually found in the big box stores. I will do business again with them when I get more settled and need furniture and mattresses for my other bedroom....CM
