Long story short, I had another company come out to look at my AC unit that was not working. the service person diagnosed it as a bad capacitor. He wanted to charge me 500 to replace it. 35 dollar part, 15 minute install. So I said no thank you. The service guy switched the wires up during inspection of the unit, so when I replaced the capacitor myself the unit wasn't working right. John from Atlas came out looked at it and solved the problem. Really appreciate the honesty, because he could have easily told me I needed a new AC. Atlas prices are very reasonable so give them a shot. I have a H VAC company that I can trust. I wont think twice on who to call with my H VAC needs. Thank you John your honesty is very much appreciated.

I was very impressed with all the Atlas employees. They went above and beyond to get me an air conditioner installed ASAP! John came out on a Sunday had my new AC in Monday morning. They were all friendly, professional, and prompt! Definitely recommend Atlas. My granddaughter especially loved Otto!

The owner of the business, John, is a good salesman and sold us a new system a few years ago. We have had multiple issues since that time. He has said several times he would be right over to fix the issue. He never actually came to our house since the initial sale and would send his incompetent worker who is not someone who inspires trust when, and if, he shows up at your home. Like another reviewer stated, we have been told in the past someone would be there at a certain time and have waited hours for them to show up, or not show up at all, and then just hoped that someone called us back. Avoid this company- the service and work are extremely subpar. We hired another company to come and repair the newest issue, which turns out is a repeat issue, and he said this was the 2nd call this week to clean up Atlas' mess.

I had gone all night without heat and it was down to 47 degrees in my house. I saw a good review on Atlas Heating Service and called. They could come out in a few hours, but instead, John, the owner, walked me through the steps so that I could clear a plugged tube and start my furnace myself. Unbelievably kind and patient while walking me through the steps. I know that many companies would want to make it a quick and easy house call and charge the rate, but he was happy that we could do it together and for FREE. You just don't see service like that anymore. Fabulous company.

Atlas Heating workers were totally professional. They arrived promptly, removed the old furnace smoothly, and installed the new furnace beautifully. It works perfectly and quietly. They explained the thermostat and fuction of the new unit professionally.They cleaned up and left no mess. I expecially appreciated the care they took to close the doors as they came and went so that our pets did not get out.

I found Atlas on the internet. My 34 year old furnace was not working and I thought the pilot light just needed to be re-lit. I was told that I was third in line for service. While waiting John VanDuyn called to let me know that he was working to get to me. When John came he explained and showed me what the problems were. Even though he said that I needed a new furnace I was not pressured by John. I am a senior living alone and feel vulnerable as I had been taken advantage of by another company. Though it was evening John drove back across town and picked up the new furnace and met his crew at my home for installation. Everyone was introduced to me and they had my new furnace up and running in a short time. I felt safe with them in my home. They explained everything to me about my new furnace. They all shook hands with me before they left. I would definitely hire them again.

I called at 8 pm to inquire about the cost of a service call due to my furnace not working. The owner asked me what problems I was having and after my explanation, he gave me some great suggestions of trying to fix it myself. He walked me through where things were located and what parts to check. The suggestions worked awesome and now have heat again (for free)!!!! Now just have to go around and shut off the electric heaters around the house and the fireplace.Thank you, thank you....

The AC went down late yesterday afternoon. When I called to request service, John was excellent - he was extremely knowledgeable and came by the house early the next day. He troubled shooted and quickly determined the problem. He told me that he needed to get a part and that he would come back later.....almost as soon as he left, he called me to tell me he redirected some of his staff and that someone would be at my house within the hour with the part. Sure enough, 2 wonderful employees arrived and replaced the failed part. AC is working great now. Thanks John and your staff!!

Of course our AC quit working the night we were expecting out of town guests. We searched on the internet and called MANY repair companies who said they were 24 hour. No one would come out or even talk to us (it was only 8pm). John answered and spent 30 min on the phone helping us troubleshoot the system. We had another company give us an estimate the following morning for $15k. We remembered John and had him give us a bid as well. He installed our new AC and furnace for HALF the price. He even put in an upper register in our upstairs room because we said it had trouble cooling. He called and text along the way ensuring we were happy. It's been two weeks and indeed we are very happy. Thanks John!

I had great service. John the owner of the company answered the phone himself on Fourth of July. HE came out on hot Fourth of July to fix my tenants air conditioning. spent two hours and got unit running good. did not charge for holliday service. I would reccamend him. satisfied customer, Larry L

I called Atlas the night before the 4th of July and John was nice enough to answer and help me fix my air conditioner! Very honest and fair company, which can be rare in this day and age. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable!

John came highly recommended by my father and we couldn't have had a better experience. We were under contract on our property and needed to get our furnace cleaned. John was incredibly pleasant, flexible and accommodating. This was very refreshing considering all of the hassle and stress of listing and purchasing a property. We will definitely use Atlas for any further HVAC needs!

Had a competitor work on our air last year and ended up paying for services that we didn't need totaling $1000 and the system still didn't work right. Started up the air system this year with the same problem, called John and explained the situation and he had his crew out here the next morning!!! They fixed the problem, answered all our questions, and the cost was extremely reasonable. John even called the next day to follow up to see if everything was satisfactory with the work and the crew. We highly recommend John and his crew for any work that anyone might need. You always here that there are good honest people out there, well John is one of those people. Needed a last minute furnace cleaning and John was all over it. Even after everything was cleaned, John fielded a call from me several days later to answer questions about a fuse. Thanks!

I did a 3-way call to John on a Saturday with my daughter who is a new young homeowner. John walked her through a few steps to help diagnose and solved the problem over the phone avoiding any unnecessary trip fees. We had her put John's number in her homeowner's book. We had a heating and air conditioning problem (suddenly stopped working), called and spoke to John who gave us a couple of tips to try first. It worked! Didn't cost a penny!

They made the bid, got here the next day and got the A/C unit we wanted and no messing around just got it and the air cleaner we had ordered in and were gone in two hours.Wonderful company, wonderful workers

Simply put, one call, one day, and done the next day.I called John one morning and he met at my house that afternoon to trouble shoot problem and provide solution options and cost estimates. We settled on the best option for my home, my budget, and my time line. By the time I got home the next day him and his team replaced, modified, and installed a new unit at a very attractive price BEFORE anyone else I called returned my calls and I ddin't even have to be there or take off from work. It was shocking for them, other contractors I called, to hear me say the work has already been done.

Called John on my furnace short cycling on the burner, he then told me it could be a flame sensor and I told him that I had already replaced to no avail. He then directed me to the pressure switch and after a little dealing with it everything worked just fine. Thank you John for your expertise in helping solve the problem.Bill
