I really like the fact it is close and the place for the most part is clean. I am super sick and tired of hanging out in line with a room full of people to wait and wait in line while the girl behind the counter hits everyone up to extend there membership and buy lotions.
It's just getting old.... I pay my money and have to deal with every time hearing how great this lotion how better this new lotion is better than the last lotion just paid $95 for then $45 this week. I found out that is how the employee can make extra money by HARD selling these lotions.
Here's an ideal go clean the beds "properly" and leave a towel for once. Or here is one, I can't tell you how many times I have had to get dressed after I had put on that expensive lotion and ask them to start the bed for me.

The staff at At The Beach is always helpful and informative. While I don't get to tan as often as I'd like, I enjoy coming to tan here.

I have tanned her on and off for a couple of years and always get great results. I have seen all these crappy posts and just don't get what the big deal is.I bought a 6 month once and am doing the year thing now, no one lied to me about, I knew what I was signing when I did it. seems like there are a bunch of idiots who either didnt read what they signed or else are just mad about it now.and OMG, really? someone posted the address and phone number of the owner of the company? That's stupid.

This is a great place to tan! The employees are so nice that it feels more like I'm hanging out with friends, than visiting a tanning salon. I tan 2 to 3 times a week and love the Turbo! I have visited lots of different tanning stores, and was really happy that I was able to find a place I enjoyed.

Seriously folks... get a clue. I don't appreciate you shoving sales down my throat EVERY TIME I go in to tan. Leave me ALONE! I am a life long tanner - have purchased contracts for years. I signed a 2 year with these bozos and WILL NOT renew. I even had one salesperson ask me: "what lotion are you using?" I said: "don't worry about it - I don't need any." He responded: "That's not what I asked." WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO A CUSTOMER? RUDE AND RIDICULOUS. You will be bullied EVERY TIME you enter. It's insane. Congratulations money grubbers - you just lost a 2 year contract. Don't bother thinking you'll go to another location to get away - it happens in other locations too.

Do NOT GO HERE! They will make you sign a contract then extend it with out you ever telling them to. They are a horrible company from any angle that you try to look at it from. They steal from you if you leave anything there on accident. You can't get a hold of cooperate if you need to, as in the case that you need out of the contract for any reason that is stated possible. The girls behind the counter work on commission so they lie and cheat to get you to sign things or buy things. They will double charge your account on random months then NOT refund your money. Even after the contract is up or you sign/sell it to someone else they will STILL charge you for it. WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER(EVER!!!) DELT WITH!

Trying to cancel your membership when you have moved away is apparently impossible and the snotty 'manager' is about as helpful as a brick. Avoid these people.

This company has countless negative reports with the Better Business Bureau due to unethical practice. This place is a scam!!
